Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is set in the world of Alrest, which is composed of clouds! Giant living creatures known as Titans support entire civilisations. You assume the role of Rex, a young salvager who was hired to do a simple job, but one that soon spirals out of your control. His ship is sunk deep in the sea, where he encounters Pyra, also known as a Blade, a legendary creature, and promises her that he will take her home to a place of paradise called Elysium.
Now the adventure starts. Blades form the essence of the combat system. Pick up to three Blades for each character and use them during different battles. In fights, each Blade will provide you with different weapons and special Arts to use. Link Arts together to gain powerful Special attacks. Travel across each Titan’s expansive terrain – from verdant rolling hills to industrial cities. Follow secret trails, unearth lost treasures and encounter predators along the way!
