Fire Emblem Engage starts you off as the Divine Dragon named Alear, who has been in a sleep for 1000 years. The Fell Dragon Sombron has returned and it’s up to you to stop him. The Emblem Ring is your main weapon. Slip on and summon the spirit of a Fire Emblem legend such as Marth, Celica or Lucina, and engage in combat with them! Connect up your Engage Meter, then turn on that “fusion” for 3 rounds of ultimate special weapons, skills and devastating attacks.
Place units wisely on maps with grid points; take advantage of the weapon triangle and save all of your fighters. Once lost in battle, they will be gone forever unless you play on Casual mode. When not at war, you can go back to your floating home base, the Somniel. Train your units, prepare food for stat boosts, forge friendships with your Emblems, and play fun minigames. The gameplay here is one of the best in the series, tactile. Select your Emblem, make your move — wake up and save Elyos.
