You’re soaring through the 14 colorful kingdoms on the hat-shaped airship Odyssey to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser before he can make her marry him. Cappy isn’t your first friend to have, but he certainly is your allies’ best friend: He’s a talking hat that you can throw onto enemies and objects to use their powers! You can now jump on a Goomba’s hop, or stomp on a T-Rex, and use their powers in your own!
Pick through each kingdom, sneak up on unsuspecting Power Moons and solve clever puzzles that will let you refuel the Odyssey to take you to your next stop. You may end up being squashed into a classic 2D side-scroller straight out of the original Super Mario Bros. games – one of the many surprises that await around the corner. Come with a buddy for two-player co-op, where you’ll be playing Mario while your buddy plays Cappy, and prepare to experience a world you haven’t seen before. Take Cappy and let’s set sail.
