Then Link slips away into an eerie gap while trying to save your life a mysterious fairy named Tri pops up, offering you a mysterious magical item called the Tri Rod, which allows you to “echo” or duplicate just about anything you encounter. Build beds in the shape of a staircase, summon up rocks to throw at enemies, or bring up the very creatures you’ve overcome to join your battle.
Mount a horse to cross the vast plains of Hyrule, enter caves and mazes in the haunted, time-dilated Still World and even briefly become a sword-wielding warrior when you’re ready to face off against an enemy head-on. The kingdom is at stake, there are more than a hundred side quests to explore, and there are familiar faces in need of help.
