Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda drops a familiar kingdom into an unfamiliar rhythm literally. A mysterious, musical sleeping spell has befallen the King of Hyrule and now it’s up to you to wake him up. You’ll begin your quest as “Cadence,” the character from Crypt of the NecroDancer, and then unlock Link or “Princess Zelda” to take on this adventure, which takes place on a randomly generated overworld and dungeon map that is slightly different each time.
The hitch: all actions, attacks and dodges must be executed on the beat of 25 remixed Zelda classics, which makes the fighting more about timing. Use iconic Zelda gear, NecroDancer’s spells and weapons and see if you can outmaneuver reimagined bosses and enemies who play to their own music. Feel the beat?
