Description:

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is an action RPG created by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch, and will be available globally on 16th October 2025. This game takes place exclusively in Lumiose City five years after the events of Pokémon X and Y. It is a prestigious corporation, called Quasartico Inc., planning the urban redevelopment of the city to make it a possible place for human beings and Pokémon to coexist. One of the main challenges in the story is that of Rogue Mega Evolution, which means that some of the Pokémon in the story undergo Mega Evolution without a Trainer.

The action continues with the player input catching and combat mechanics of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, where players can throw Poké Balls at targets and control their Pokémon’s movement in real space during battle. The game lets players navigate the bustling city of Lumiose, with each spot offering a new experience and mission, ranging from a café to a waterfront, a shopping centre to a park, all offering an opportunity to explore and discover and engage in real-time, dynamic combat with Trainers. At the same time, a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition was revealed with a higher resolution and better frame rates compared to the standard Switch.
