Take on Pokémon Shield and experience the same Galar region as its counterpart, Sword but with a slightly different twist. You’ll still be at Postwick to choose your first partner (from Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble), and then you’ll go out to battle the Gym Leaders of Galar, while Team Yell is constantly getting in your way.
What makes Shield special is its own unique Legendary, its Gym Leaders, and even its own Legendary on the cover: Zamazenta, the steadfast equivalent to Sword’s Zacian. Explore the open Wild Area and find Pokémon in action without combat, play co-op Max Raid Battles with friends or compete against giant Dynamax enemies, develop your own team, and face the Champion Cup and the reigning Champion, Leon. Choose your starter, and let’s take a walk through Galar together.
