In the Hisui region, thousands of years ago, in an era where Pokémon and humans had never coexisted, Pokémon Legends: Arceus will let you explore where no Pokémon games has ever ventured. You get a partner Pokémon (Rowlet, Cyndaquil or Oshawott) and a mysterious Arc Phone, which is bestowed upon you by Arceus itself, and your task is easy yet massive: create the region’s first-ever Pokédex. Don’t have to wait for a battle to begin.
You’ll get to do some sneaking through long grass, learn about each Pokémon’s personality, and (if they’re a little bit aggressive) use a Poké Ball to catch them for the first time, or weaken them in battle first. Train Alphas, giant Pokémon with glowing red eyes, that will follow you when you find them, and discover Hisui in all its five wild and untamed regions, whether by riding, swimming or climbing.
