Morkull Ragast’s Rage is a hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animated 2D Metroidvania from Disaster Games. Players control Morkull, the God of Death and Darkness, who’s fully aware he’s a video game character and constantly breaks the fourth wall to talk directly to the player. Trapped inside the Ragast, he fights his way through with a mix of combos and dark-god abilities while cracking jokes and pop-culture references along the way. The game leans on a Hollow Knight-inspired moody art style, wrapped around a self-aware, comedic villain’s tale.
